Julie L. Gordon

Certified Splankna Practitioner

For over 40 years, my participation with the Lord in His ministry has been dedicated to empowering individuals to thrive rather than merely survive, to fully embrace life rather than settle for coping. My passion lies in guiding others not just through the process of healing, but in helping them to construct a vibrant life built upon their newfound strength and resilience on God.

After attending Bible College in the early 1980s, I pursued training in Deliverance Ministry in the late 1990s. Since then, I have dedicated many years to counseling adults, teenagers, and children, witnessing countless miracles across all age groups.

My qualifications include being a Certified Splankna Practitioner, an Ordained Minister, a former Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor, a Deliverance Ministry team member, a teacher at the Institute of Biblical Studies, a contributor to the development of a Bible curriculum for adult studies, and a new author (My first book is officially available now across all platforms, including Amazon. DISCLAIMER: Please note that the outcomes of the healing process are significantly influenced by a client's commitment to their own wellness journey. While reviewing past experiences can provide meaningful insights and guidance, it's important to understand that these do not guarantee the same results in the future. Each individual's path to healing is unique and requires active participation and dedication.

Additionally, I would like to clarify that I am not a licensed psychologist; however, I am a Certified Splankna Practitioner. While Splankna Therapy differs from traditional psychotherapy, it is a valuable tool for helping clients move toward a brighter and more empowered future. As a non-licensed healthcare professional, my focus is on using Splankna Therapy to assist individuals in managing stress and promoting emotional, mental, and spiritual growth. This work involves uncovering past emotional injuries, exploring generational issues, and facilitating healing, deliverance, restoration, and transformation.

My goal is to create a constructive and empowering experience for those seeking personal development and freedom. As stated in John 8:36, "So if the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be free indeed."

What is Splankna?

Important note from the Practitioner

As a Splankna practitioner, my primary reliance is on the Holy Spirit's movement through His spiritual gifts such as wisdom, knowledge, discernment, and prophecy.

In Splankna, prayer forms the central foundation and guiding framework for the entire process, rather than serving merely as an opening or closing element. The "listening" aspect specifically involves actively seeking and following the Holy Spirit's direction to reveal the underlying roots of emotional issues, rather than depending primarily on muscle testing.

Muscle testing is not tapping into an "all-knowing" source in the body or soul—that view is described as absurd and inaccurate. Many factors can influence results, such as dehydration, the state of the atlas (a neck vertebra), and emotional resistance.

When used properly in Splankna, muscle testing is seen as a functional pointer or clue (like reactions in a larger story) for how the body/soul responds to emotions and memories, rather than a definitive source of facts. It is simply a key technique to access subconscious reactions related to emotions, memories, and trauma. Thus, the Splankna organization explicitly cautions against treating it as infallible.

Online Therapy Sessions

If you do not live nearby, I can offer you a virtual Splankna session over Zoom that operates under a combination of Splankna Emotional Freedom techniques, listening, Prayer, and Forgiveness protocol. Click on the button below to schedule an appointment.

Proof that Humans carry Emotions in the Gut Organs

TheThe idea aligns with extensive research on the gut-brain axis (also called the brain-gut connection). This bidirectional system involves the enteric nervous system (ENS)—a network of over 100 million neurons in the gut walls, often called the “second brain”—and the gut microbiome (trillions of microbes).

These structures influence mood, stress, and emotions through the vagus nerve, hormones, neurotransmitters (e.g., ~95% of the body’s serotonin is produced in the gut), and microbial metabolites. Common experiences like “butterflies in the stomach” or “gut feelings” reflect this connection. Gut imbalance can trigger or worsen anxiety/depression, and emotions can disrupt gut function.

Key Researchers:

  • Emeran Mayer (UCLA): Leading expert; author of The Mind-Gut Connection, focusing on how the gut and microbiome affect emotions and “gut feelings.”

  • Kirsten Tillisch and UCLA team: Showed links between specific gut bacteria and brain regions involved in mood.

  • Johns Hopkins researchers: Demonstrated that gut irritation can directly influence mood, challenging old views.

  • Jun Huh (Harvard): Studies gut-immune-brain interactions and microbiome’s role in anxiety/irritability.

  • Other notable work includes Michael Gershon (pioneer of the ENS as the “second brain”), plus studies from Stanford, Flinders University, and a 2023 Harvard-linked study linking positive emotions to healthier microbial profiles.

Supporting Evidence:

  • The ENS communicates constantly with the brain.

  • Gut microbes influence neurotransmitters and immunity, which affect mood.

  • People with gut issues (e.g., IBS) often experience more anxiety/depression; improving microbiome health can help emotional symptoms.

  • Recent findings include direct gut-to-brain cellular signaling and brain-gut rhythm links to mental health.

This field is rapidly evolving. Diet, stress, and antibiotics strongly influence the microbiome and gut-brain axis.

Note: This is not medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional if you’re experiencing symptoms. For more, read Emeran Mayer’s books or search “gut-brain axis” reviews.
